The Castle Chaplains House (Guesthouse) is a part of the town historic zone and heritage conservation area which includes also a building of an old presbytery. Looking out of its windows you can get a unique view of the most atractive part of the historic village centre, a castle compound and the Church of the Holy Trinity. Thanks to its position it offers a combination of posibilities to relax in the castle park or to do some recovery activity, like cycling. As it is located on slope right under the castle church, you can live a lovely atmosphere full of an absolute peace.
Not long before from now, the presbytery use to be a seat of NADACE Valeč v Čechách (A FUND Valeč in Bohemia), which takes care of the restoration of the heritage conservation area. In 2017 was completed an overall reconstruction of the building and its spaces were adapted to a housing of guests. The Castle Chaplains Guesthouse offers a cosy accommodation for 22 people. The only drawback which must be taken into account if you hire the full building is that the architecture of this historic building didn't allow us to fit a private bathroom into each of the rooms. There are bathrooms for all on the corridor, only the suite has its private bathroom. We believe that it won't affect the overall impression from this otherwise cosy and comfortable place.
The guests can book any of our 5 rooms or one suite offering privacy and a unique view of Valeč. The rooms are spacious, in all of them is an internet connection, WiFi and a fridge. Parking is right outside the building, protected by a camera system. A stylish and cosy restaurant 'U muzea' with a capacity up to 70 seats in the village center offers a great, mainly Czech cuisine.
The accommodation on the ground floor is wheel-chair accessible, pets are welcome.
